About Examination
I don't remember how many examinations I've taken since I began my schooling. To tell the truth, I don't like examinations at all. I dare say that, in fact, no student likes examinations.
We often hear people say “Examinations are teachers' magic weapon”, so most of us may think it is our teachers who give us students so many examinations. But I don't think so. Almost all of them have once been students before they became teachers. We don't like examinations, and neither do our teachers, which may be reasonably concluded. What's more, the more examinations we take, the more time will be taken from our teachers and the more trouble our teachers have to take.
It is the system in our country, I think, that gives us students so many examinations. 第一,高中英语音标教学的现状
在进入高中阶段,有些英语教师没有教授音标,或没有进行系统化分门别类地进行音标教学,许多学生还是没有系统掌握音标。甚至有些学生还存在用中文来标注发音。在高中英语教学中,发现许多学生不会使用音标,更糟糕的是,一些学生到高三了,还没有掌握全部音标;在新单词的学习过程中,不能自己独立拼读单词、记诵词汇,很多学生死记硬背单词,甚至用中文标注发音。而掌握了音标,也就意味着学生会自己拼读单词了,会正确地发音,从而会增加学生对英语的信心和兴趣。因此,在高中阶段进行英语音标教学也是很有必要的。
第二,高中英语音标教学的作用
其一,掌握好了英语音标,就像掌握了钓鱼的方法,学生可以独立地拼读单词,自学能力和自信心大大提升。其二,可以帮助学生记诵词汇,通过音标来记诵单词也是一种很好的记忆方法,轻松记住词汇。其三,有助于学生的语音的提高,有助于学生正确发音。
第三,高中英语音标教学的'几点建议
首先,抓住刚入学的有力时机,集中进行音标的理论教学。刚入学时,是一个新的开始,高中生学习热情高涨,有很浓厚的学习兴趣,期待学好英语。作为高中英语教师,要充分利用这一时机,引导学生学好学通掌握音标,为高中英语学习打好扎实的基础。学好音标,以更好地记诵词汇,词汇是英语的基础。在学生学习兴趣高涨的时候,会把原本枯燥无味的理论上的东西也会学得很有趣。所以集中进行四十八个英语国际音标,让学生从整体感知,学习,并系统掌握音标。为以后的英语学习做好铺垫,集中进行音标教学可以帮助学生解决拼读单词的问题,使得学生具备自己拼读单词的自学能力,对教师的教和学生的学习都有帮助。其次,分门别类地教学,进行拼读演练。分为元音:长短元音、单双元音,辅音:清辅音、浊辅音、鼻音、舌边音;半元音等,其一;元音:12个单元音:短元音7个[i][][][u][][e][];长元音5个[i:][:][:][u:][ɑ:];8个双元音[ei][ai][i][au][u][i][][u]其二;辅音10对:清辅音[p][t][k][f][θ][s][ts][tr][∫][t∫];浊辅音[b][d][g][v][][z][dz][dr][З][dЗ];3个鼻音[m][n][];3个舌边音[h][l][r]第三;2个半元音[j][w]。注意:[m]嘴巴闭住,然后发音,气流从鼻子出来,浊音[n]嘴巴微张,舌尖顶住上颚,气流从鼻子出来而不是从嘴巴出来,浊音[]嘴巴长大,舌头向下弯曲,气流从鼻子出来而不是从嘴巴出来,浊音[l]有两个读音。一是放在音标结尾发呕,浊音;二是放在音标中发了,浊音在教学过程中,教师可以准备一些有趣的贴近生活的词汇,句子,图片和对话,准备一些训练音标的录音和歌曲。反复操练,使学生学会并掌握音标。如训练[i:]的句子的朗读:Thereisalittlebee.Comingfromtheappletree.Flyingintheowers.Andcan’tseeme.再次,进行音标听写,以帮助和促进学生记诵音标。对于高中英语的新单词,教师们是要进行听写,从而督促学生们记诵词汇。因为对于高中生而言,许多学生还是缺乏自觉性的,听过听写英语音标,对于不自觉的学生,会把它作为一项任务去完成。而对于音标,教师们也可以采取听写的形式,以一种外在的动力来促进学生记诵音标,从而更好地掌握好音标。然后,提供给学生录音资料、歌曲或视频资料让学生课后多读多练以巩固音标。对于音标,学生在课堂上学习之后,教师可以提供一些录音资料,歌曲或视频资料,让学生课后进行模仿发音,巩固上课所学并掌握好音标。这些资料也可以让学生带着兴趣去学习和掌握好音标。
